A tour of Windermere & Ambleside

For my first time in the Lake District, I'd say it was a rather tame trip in terms of hiking around Windermere and Ambleside but a delight for landscape photography. But even then some of the landscape really left me breathless. A simple, compelling beauty, sometimes more sophisticated.

I should say I've always wanted to go up North and have a fascination for this type of landscape, even though it was my first time experiencing it first hand. And I was not disappointed !
